Ludmila Evans was born in the Czech Republic and was raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Her clay work references historical archetypes and naturalism. Ludmila studied art throughout North America, including with the Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland, OH; Kent Blossom Art Intensives at Kent State University, Kent, OH; Temple Buell College (later Colorado Women’s College, now part of the University of Denver) in Denver, CO; at the Tigua Pueblo in El Paso, TX; Alberta College of Art and Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in Calgary, Canada; and Banff School of Fine Arts (now Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity) in Banff, Canada.
